How to read the grid
Each row is a possible shot day. Each column is a day of your week. The darker the cell, the higher your estimated level that day, once your dose has settled. Your marked days are highlighted, and the row that fits them best is outlined.
The pattern is the same for every row, shifted by a day: the level peaks a day or two after the shot and is lowest the day before the next one. Tirzepatide (Zepbound, Mounjaro) has a shorter half-life than semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic), so its week has a bigger gap between high and low days.
Things people weigh when picking a day
- Having the shot on a calm day at home, in case the first day or two feel off.
- Where the weekend falls compared with the peak and the low point.
- A day that is easy to remember, with a reminder at the same time each week.
None of these is a rule. Your prescriber can help you pick a day that fits your treatment.
